Designed as a formula upgrade of our popular "AK-Haut Formula", Biogena AkutHaut® Balance combines in its unique formula a proven combination of various micronutrients to support a balanced skin appearance. It includes zinc, for example, as a highly bioavailable zinc picolinate, and vitamin C, both of which contribute to the maintenance of normal skin. Vitamin C supports the body's own collagen formation and, together with zinc, helps to protect the cells from oxidative stress. Vitamin A is also important in skin maintenance and should not be missing in the course of a formula upgrade. In addition, Biogena AkutHaut® Balance provides an extra dose of OPC with the pigeon seed extract it contains - these are oligomeric proanthocyanidins, a group of valuable plant compounds that occur naturally in plants and protect them from free radicals. The two branded raw materials Boswellin®, a premium extract of frankincense with a standardized content of beta-boswellic acids, and Yestimun®, high-quality beta-glucans extracted from yeast, round off the formula.
